At Plugged, we believe that all Black folx must be able to feel safe in being their most unapologetic self. We are committed to building a community where Black folx are welcomed and uplifted.

Following public allegations of sexual harassment, today, we announce that since the start of August, Plugged co-founder, David Peterson, has been released from his role and is no longer a part of our organization.

We hope to learn and grow from this experience to better serve our community, as we continue to work aligned with our mission.

I have been performing comedy all over the country for 6 years. The mission is to Inspire women and people of color to take responsibility to write, produce and STAR⭐️ in the story that is our life.

The narratives will be written regardless..We’re tasked with the responsibility to either be in charge of our narrative or merely STAR⭐️ in someone else’s production of our culture.

Through Comedy I’m changing the narrative and adding a punchline.

Hello beautiful people! I go by the name of Elisea Dreams (@eliseadreams). My real name is Shakira Elisea Martin and I was born and raised in South Carolina.

I'm 21 years old and I'm a Pk (preacher's kid) growing up I was a very quiet, kinda shy and laid back kid. I never had a lot of friends, but I was always blowing everyone's mind with my gifts and talents. Middle school is when I started coming out of my shell more.

I'm a mobile Christian rapper, beatboxer, motivational speaker, dancer, poet, drummer, digital artist and love making people laugh! In elementary school I was in chorus and I played clarinet in middle/ high school.

I use apps to make music and I love being different and creating content that not a lot of people are doing. I love church and I put God first in everything I do!

I enjoy spending my days and especially nights staying up late daydreaming and thinking up new ideas of how to inspire someone else.

My true passion is working with children. I plan on becoming a school counselor someday and writing kid songs. I daydream of performing in front of millions of kids making them laugh and smile! Lastly, just becoming a huge Youth leader and role model that kids can look up to and everyone can talk to!

Hi loves, my name is Ann Robinson (@Angieduhsit) and I’m just your average person that loves to create comedy videos and put smiles on people faces.

I was born and raised in Detroit, MI by my beautiful hardworking mother. Growing up my mother, my siblings, and I would always watch movies then react to the funny parts that made us laugh.

Ever since then I’ve been into making people laugh by doing silly things. Seeing smiles on people faces and hearing their laughter from something I did always made me feel good and accomplished.

Knowing personally that life can be hard and stressful I have always felt that if I can brighten just one person’s day from my comedy then I’ve did something great. That has led me to making comedy videos today.

What’s good, my name is Clint Brandon Cave (@clintbrandoncave) and I am a self-taught videographer & photographer who loves reliving life’s best moments through my camera.

I was raised in Meriden, CT by two immigrant parents from the island of Trinidad & Tobago. Growing up, they constantly would tell me stories of their wild endeavors, and I wanted to be able to do the same with my peers.

I’ve found that being placed in unusual situations usually forces me to adapt and adjust to my current surroundings, for the better (i.e. being in the center of a mosh pit getting footage for The Flatbush Zombies with all of my camera gear on me).

My love for exploration and encountering new people is clearly expressed through my work. The excitement of “getting the shot” never goes away, and that is why I love what I do.
